Charlie Rhodes has been down on his luck for a long while. A struggling musician living in Las Vegas, Charlie is in the middle of trying to piece his life back together when he’s invited back to Arizona to sing at a friend’s wedding. This sets him on an alcohol fueled spiral, meeting old friends and past lovers, reliving his glory days as well as some memories that are best left alone, and seeking some sense of truth in a world he has all but given up on.
“Yeah, I’ve made some mistakes, and I might not always be ready for what’s ahead of me, but just like the desert rat I will push on, scurrying along my chosen path, keeping one eye on the sky and one claw in the sand, through the country I will roam.”
