Ariyah Letherson wants to succeed. But after a nearly fatal mistake during a practice sword-fighting session, he finds himself entangled with the other jewel of Morinnin—and partnered with an elven girl he barely knows. Together, the elf and young man must fight through the harsh climate of Thaos and past the camp of a bitter outlaw to bring these jewels to a peace council.
