Years after Isabella Montreal’s father
mysteriously dies, Isabella goes to visit a nearby psychologist. There, Isabella falls to the ground and is unconscious. When she regains consciousness at the hospital, the doctor tells her that her mother has died. He also tells her that she has a rare, but serious hand disease that has no cure. An option for Isabella is to paint to get her hands in motion to try and destroy the disease. Isabella moves to Rome, Italy to live with her Aunt Zeppele.
