Once Happy As Larry

"Once Happy As Larry" is the first collection of writing by Larry Matthews. Larry Matthews lives in Dunedin, New Zealand and is an artist, designer, poet, and street performing magician. He can often be seen doing magic on the street. He is a former design lecturer and is obsessed with good coffee. Larry is originally from the United States and he worked at the National Zoo as a designer before taking taking up a teaching job along the Tasman Sea on the North Island of New Zealand. He ventured to the South Island where he found himself performing poetry at local poetry open-mic nights and then subsequently getting published. Larry's work has been published in Takahe, JAAM, The Otago Daily Times, Deep South, Blue Oyster Gallery, Southern Ocean Review, and other journals.
