Drawn Into Relationship

This work examines the nature of God through the lens of the passion narrative in the Gospel of Luke. By examining the words of Jesus as he approaches crucifixion and is resurrected, five characteristics of God are unearthed. God is not Caesar. God is incarnate. God is welcoming. God is present. God is reconciling. These traits provide a picture of God that shows the boundless hospitality and love God has for humanity even in the midst of crisis and suffering.
