Salt Body

Salt Body is Leah Shiloh Henderson's first Collection of poems. The work moves through the landscapes of memory, grief, desire and belonging. With images drawn from the natural world and the ordinary rituals of everyday life, these poems ask what it means to return to ourselves after loss, and in the midst of pleasure. Rooted in nature and written with tenderness, Salt Body is an invitation to inhabit the body more fully, listen deeply, and discover that even our deepest wounds can become places of freedom and becoming.
