As God Is My Author

An author enters his own story and tells his character to find an answer to an impossible question. When he discovers he is a character in someone else’s story and is given the same challenge, he begins to suspect that life for each individual is preordained and that every decision or direction taken in the course of their lives can seem, in later life, to be options that were meant to be chosen. Authors play God and interact with their characters in a conflict that leads to deletion and death.
