“In a soon while” This was what I once heard a young girl say to her parents regarding when she would return to them. This work is a lyric listing of haunting moments and events in childhood. It also recounts the loss of childhood. One might read it to a child.
The words are musical. Another audience for it is, those who have left, or are about to leave, childish things behind.
