About Let's treat addiction!

I became a counselor at a private rehab in São Paulo in 2024, after four years of treatment there. I had a long recovery, because I struggled a lot at the beginning of treatment due to prejudice. I thought my problem was only with cocaine abuse and had nothing to do with alcohol. With some time and a few relapses, I understood that alcohol is an integral part of my drug of choice and that I should avoid it. Since then, I've started to live a life without alcohol. Needless to say, my life changed 180 degrees with the withdrawal from alcohol: I started prioritizing time with my family, close friends, hand-picked events, peaceful and enriching trips, working on interesting projects and dedicating myself to helping other people with the same purpose.
