Tidal Hearts follows the lives of one family’s love and connection with the ocean. Robbie, a naval officer, follows his lifelong dream to explore the mysterious abyss. The deep-sea mission ends up changing him and his life in unexpected ways. Robbie’s love for the ocean has captured the heart of his daughter, Nina, who pushes her mind and body beyond limits in free-diving. Nina’s daughter, Coral, who is born into the sea grapples with adolescence, sexuality, unimaginable changes and unexpectedly befriending an octopus. Robbie’s wife Ruth tries to keep her family together sacrificing her passion for music, her chance at happiness, while trying to keep her marriage and love for Robbie alive.
