El Leon is a student literary journal in its first annual publication cycle. Stories are written by the students of Mr. Alpers’ English classes at Abraham Lincoln High School in San Jose, California. All work submitted to El Leon is fiction. Submissions must be greater than or equal to one hundred words and have a clear conflict that is central to the narrative.
