The Journey

“Enjoying the Lights of Life” This poem tells a story of someone laying out on the open fields staring at the stars with someone they love next to them hoping they don’t leave them all alone. It also talks about a lesson that you should live in the moment no matter how short it is. Theme in this poem is to always take in all the moments you get with someone in your life no matter how short how stupid the moment may seem. “Home Away From Home” A story about a connection to a cottage. And how it makes me feel, and why it has such a deep connection to me and who I am. This may seem like a normal cottage but I spent a lot of my time here. It was technically the first home I was in since I was born. The theme here is that it’s set in a time of remembrance and bliss of a thing that is no longer visible. “Hospital Room 7720” A story about a relationship between a mother and a daughter. Giving a story on how the daughter viewed the trip to the hospital and how the mother viewed it. Having a better understanding that the mother wasn’t upset at her daughter that she got sick, she was upset at the nurses for taking so long to send me back. The theme here is, even though you may see something a certain way, someone always views it in another. “Into the Woods” A Murder Mystery about an officer who grew up in a small town with no crimes and especially no murders. Until one day a local girl gets killed, but there's a twist. The officer's little sister mysteriously died in a car crash with their parents but they didn’t have a scratch on them. When going out to ask people around the woods some questions they run into the unexpected. The officer's mother left them after her sister died. The theme in this seems to be, just cause you think you know someone doesn’t mean you know what they are capable of doing.
