Only the Past Is Safe is a collection of poems that explore themes related to family struggles, distressing politics, overcoming cancer, motherhood, and the basic challenges of life. Since poetry has helped the author cope with life’s stresses, she hopes that by sharing her work, others can relate, reflect, and maybe feel some relief knowing someone else feels the same.
