Broken Glass

Broken Glass is an anthology which has taken more than fifteen years to compile. It is a loving effort put forth by its author of inspirational, humorous, issue related, and spiritual poetry. Of the over six thousand poems I have written I have selected the poems in this volume because they are the most personal and dearest to my heart. I am of the strong opinion the best poetry is the kind that can be identified with, it touches, lifts and helps the reader in some way. I hope the poems in this anthology can in some way touch, lift and help. If one or more of them accomplishes this in any way, I feel I have done my job as both a poet and a human being. The ultimate goal of art is to provoke, introduce, uplift and reflect the human condition. Like my poetry I am a mix of many things. I am a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a lover and a spiritual being. While poetry is my primary love, I am also the author of the historical fiction novel HEROES.
