28 Days, Photos and Stories
A Photographic Journal: Children on the Streets
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
28 Days, Photos and Stories is a documentary photography essay born from the renowned 28 Days, 28 Photos challenge organized by the Roberto Mata School of Photography in Venezuela. For twenty-eight consecutive days, a daily word or concept served as the starting point for an intimate visual exploration of childhood on the streets.
The book brings together 28 photographs, the original texts written during the project, and a selection of comments shared by followers who experienced the journey in real time through social media. More than a book about poverty or social exclusion, it is a testimony to human dignity, empathy, resilience, and the transformative power of truly seeing those who are often overlooked.
