War of the Rubble

Dustin Smith has been on his own for the past three years surviving in post-apocalyptic New York City. After a potential cure for neurological disorders goes public, a host of unforeseen side effects sweep across the population. Now, the infected are called perfects, pleasure-seeking cannibals who act upon their every impulse. Dustin knows them all too well as it was his own mother who created the disaster. He evades any and all contact with any infected or remaining survivors until he meets Jennifer, a member of a nomadic group that is attempting to establish a concrete home for the non-perfects. Dustin seems to have found a home when a dark secret is revealed leaving Dustin and Jennifer having to flee for themselves. On the run, they join another group that is led by a mysterious man from Dustin’s past. Working together, they must all learn to survive in a world that grows all too familiar by the day. An exciting thrill ride into the end of the world from the guilty mind of the one who helped create it.
