Life in the Light

This is the story of that catastrophe and the many challenges that followed, year after year, decade after decade. I have survived many life-altering experiences with death and disease including breast cancer, a near fatal sepsis infection, brain injury due to stroke resulting in significant loss of vision, paralysis, and subsequent loss of career and independence.
