Anxious Monsters explores the pattern of toxic relationships, with a person, a bottle, a pill, or whatever calls your name — relationships that attempt to devour your being and spit you out as a shell of what you used to be. Moonshine captures the experience of losing yourself in the hole of toxic, all-consuming love and then digging your way back out again: the fall, the waking up, the fight to get out, and the raw transformative rebirth that comes after — shattering and healing all at once.
