On Practice and On Contradiction

Mao Zedong in his two famous works On Practice and On Contradiction elucidates, in brief, the Marxist theory of knowledge from the standpoint of combatting the dogmatism that keeps one locked within their four walls aloof from the revolutionary movement and the theory of contradiction, about how contradiction is a component part of the dialectical world outlook, exists within everything, each contradiction having its own particularity, each situation having its own principal contradiction (key link) to grasp, the unity and struggle within a contradiction and the instances of antagonistic contradictions. These two works outline some tenets of Marxist philosophy very briefly. Also included is the author's short writing Where Do Correct Ideas Come From?, which further contributes to the importance of social practice, social experimentation, as the means for determining truth.
