The book is a study of various topics. A comparison is made between the history, archaeology, the Bible, and the Oral Torah. Sources are compared to sift out the truth and eliminate the many pagan myths.
There is without any doubt a nation that came from Abraham via Jacob [Israel] from which the Messiah and His church was born. This nation occupied the Nile delta during a famine. After being enslaved by the Egyptians, they moved to Midian [Arabia], dwelt as nomadics in the desert, and eventually occupied the Promised Land.
There were many gods. These Israelites served the only God, who made a Covenant with humans. This Lord of the Covenant raised up prophets and scribes to record His relationship with the humans in the first written language. An alphabet and literacy was born, and the recordings were compiled in scrolls. Later codexes were compiled from which today we have the Bible. This Bible today is still the main source of history of the ancient Middle East, also known as the Levant. Over the years many nations arose, and many groups stumbled by adopting the myths from pagan gods. Many of these pagan myths were adopted in societies and even found their way into teachings of the historic churches. The Lord of the Covenant trusted the Israelites with 3 main feasts, but what happened to these feasts? Must they be kept or were they fulfilled by the promised Messiah? Did the early church adopt these feasts? Were the feasts that we have today adopted from pagan beliefs? Join us as we sift through the remnants of history.
