Set in Brooklyn

The poems contained in this collection are a remarkable example of the power of words. The students in the Poetry Club at the Grand Street Campus High Schools worked with Kesed Ragin, Janine Simone and Maria Krajewski to learn to express themselves through poetry. The Poetry Club is grateful for the experience as well as this book, which was made possible by a Mini Grant from the United Federation of Teachers.
