The title of this book has a significant meaning to all the people involved in putting this work together. For me, my life in addiction had no rules or guidelines, and for years I lived an uncontrollable life. But through hard work and complete honesty and openness I managed to see a life beyond addiction. As in my career as a joiner, my toolbox and its contents were invaluable. But now in my recovery I have a new toolbox, filled with coping strategies, the most important tool I carry is to take my recovery and my life: - “One Day at A Time.”
