The contents of this book cover a variety of topics. There are stories about places discovered and incidents that occurred over years of international travel. Still others deal with life's varying experiences. Just as in life, there is humor and sadness in these stories. While unique to the author or those he has encountered over the years, I believe that you may see elements of your own life in these pages. I have found that there is a remarkable commonality in mankind that supersedes language or locale. The poems deal with love, beauty, weariness, travel, and perseverance. There are also works that relate both lessons and experiences that were accumulated during a thirty year career in federal law enforcement. Lastly, there is a bit of tongue in cheek commentary and one piece that deals with a serious issue plaguing the United States. Overall, there are fifty-one different works in this book.
