The Labor We Delight

Meet Henry Modicum: single, poor driver, existentially confused twenty-something, unwitting psychiatrist to sexually adventurous friends. In one summer he works at a fast-food restaurant, a warehouse and a parks & recreation department where he finds most of the world’s mysteries under active investigation. Modicum’s raucous and hilarious experiences are ends in themselves. At the climax, Modicum witnesses a near death experience, leading him to question his own fate.
