In the story, the protagonist finds themselves inexplicably trapped in the Backrooms, a place devoid of any familiar landmarks or signs of life. They wander through seemingly identical hallways, trying to find a way out while battling a growing sense of dread and disorientation. As they continue their journey, they encounter various strange creatures and phenomena, each more terrifying than the last. They also begin to question their own sanity as the endless halls and lack of human contact start to take a toll on their mind.
