Stuck in the Middle and The End

Two 30-minute ensemble plays for theatre. In "Stuck in the Middle" (3 male roles, 2 female), when Johnny decides to sell his house to get away from his past, he angers Lorraine, who wants to keep living there to secure her future, and he disturbs KC, who lives in an eternal present of his own creation. But, as we attempt to navigate between the past and the future, aren't we all just stuck in the middle? And in "The End" (3 male, 3 female) three protagonists locked in destructive cycles of behaviour live out their petty lives even as their worlds crumble around them. Can they learn to let go? Or can only the end of all things bring them release? These plays are suitable for performers aged 16 and up.
