Dido Elizabeth Belle was born the illigitmate daughter of a British Naval Captain and a slave woman in the 1700s. Her Great-Uncle was the Lord Chief Justice William Murray who kick started the Abolition of slavery. Could the mixed race Great-Niece he helped raise made him look at slavery in a different light? "Let Justice Be Done" is a fictional account of the Lord Chief Justice's relationship with his Great-Niece and her awakening to her uncertain status as the daughter of a slave. A meeting with Olaudah Equiano an ex-slave-cum-Abolishnist, makes Dido realise that she had the ability to make a difference even if that difference is never acknowledged and remains a hidden footnote in history.
