Change of Heart

After the death of her mother, Elizabeth Roberts and her young daughter have to make a new life in Islington with a relation. They arrive on a very foggy day and Elizabeth discovers that she has lost the purse containing her money and the address she is to go to. The night and the dense fog close in and with nowhere to go, in despair Elizabeth and her daughter sink down onto some steps beside the Thatched Barn pub. This is when Tommy Harris comes into their lives. He offers Elizabeth and her daughter a shelter for the night and having no other option, Elizabeth decides to go with him,which changes the whole course of her life.
