This interesting book will tell you everything you want to know about the people called Baptists. The author includes a glossary of about 100 terms that Christian denominations use, explaining each one from a Baptist perspective. He refers to about seventy-five dates in church history, with an emphasis on the dates with special interest to Baptists. Then he gives examples of three church covenants Baptists have used and examples of two Baptist Confessions of Faith. This book is not a polemic. It does not defend Baptists views and practices and it does not disparage the views and practices of any other denomination. This book is a new way to read church history.
