Wanderlust

In 2004 my parents and I had had enough of the homogenized boring smallness of Sonoma. Saved money, put most of our stuff in storage, rented our house, and travelled the world. When I started school again in 2005 I knew I wanted to do that again (travelling) so planned and planned and planned… but when I finished high school, then finally ended up leaving in October 2009 very little of the years of “planning” affected the outcome of the actual trip. The resulting wandering across Asia, from Turkey to Indonesia, with Syria, Thailand, Lao PDR, Vietnam in between (and ending in India), and the discussions/accounts of the sights and sounds, smells and feelings are contained within these pages.
