Megan Donahue's "Forgotten Form" is a feature length screenplay which received the Humanities Thesis Award from Endicott College in 2025. "Forgotten Form" is set in the late 1980s at a Midwestern University.
In this memorable investigative drama, a senior journalism student, Joshua Wendell, is assigned a profile piece on an infamous retiring professor, Gregory Reed. What starts as a harmless work celebrating the career of a literary icon soon turns into an invasive and emotional exposé on the many lives that Professor Reed has lived. As Josh pries into Reed's hidden past, what he discovers could push the code of ethics.
Donahue's screenplay dives into topics of abuse, mental illness, and bisexuality in late 1980s America.
