Middle School

This is a book about you. It's also a book about the transitional stages into and out of hurt. About ten years ago I wrote a short note to myself on the back of a piece of plywood to define to myself what the book would be about. This is what the note said, "I'll name the book Middle School. It'll hold hurt, dumbness, absurdity, denseness, death, failedness, and aimlessness for the whole..."
