The work addresses a wide variety of theological issues, and doing so in a variety of ways. There are key word studies in the original Hebrew and Greek for topics like baptism, repentance the LORD's Supper, etc. Some address historical deviations from the Biblical truth that salvation is by the grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone as revealed in the Scriptures alone. There are bulletin inserts and a sermon that deal with real-life issues of life in this fallen word and the comfort that the Christian has because of the Son of God's Incarnation, atoning sacrifice on the cross, Resurrection, Ascension and Enthronement. The entire work is intended to be pastoral with applications found via a hymn, some poetry and even a Christmas Sermon. This certainly is not the last word on these topics. I am open to correction. However, prior to any such correction there must be agreement on the hermeneutical principles of Biblical interpretation, as well as on the Lutheran formal and material principles.
