Community-Redevelopment in the Lower Ninth Ward

This is a community Redevelopment plan for the Lower Ninth Ward. Thesis Statement: Visual and physical connections are what make up a community. Currently in the lower ninth ward there exists a lack of these connections due to an isolated growth where homes are scattered throughout the area. By establishing more formal visual and physical connections within the home, block and neighborhood of a dense core through a balance of personal and communal space, the dense core will spur growth causing the Lower Ninth Ward to regain a sense of community.
