Elephant Dreams

In this illustrated story based on the Buddhist Heart of Perfect Wisdom sutra, Mike, who collects "elephant dreams" in a special dream box relates his own dream about a miniature elephant in a tree. His friend Zoe tells of her experience in a school room in China: with the help of her calligraphy teacher's magic heart-shaped glasses, she is able to make a link between the invisible world and everyday life, as she witnesses a painted elephant kanji transform itself into its three dimensional live counterpart.
