DESTROY THE BOY were master of short sharp indie which contained both a no-nonsense punky approach to lyrical brevity but also a dark gothy mood early on.
They were always brilliantly visual as Brigit was rare among indie singers in actually being able to dance, and they always made an effort in the sartorial stakes too. So plenty of photos (633 in all) and a few flyers from the following gigs in this 500 page epic: Bull & Gate 24.12.88, Bull & Gate 28.1.89, Bull & Gate 27.3.89, Bull & Gate 7.4.89, Defiance – 27.10.89, Powerhaus 1.11.89, Defiance 21.12.89, Bull & Gate 6.3.90, Bull & Gate 6.4.90, Bull & Gate 17.5.90, Bull & Gate 23.6.90 and Bull & Gate 9.10.90.
There is a second volume available, covering the final phase of Destroy The Boy, then following Dean and Brigit through into The Carmines and Honey Rider.
