This colour book contains 104 colour photos of the gig that was held to raise monies for the Sid Vicious legal fund when he was facing a charge of murder in New York following the death of Nancy Spungen. Colour photos cost a fortune back in 1978 and three rolls were the equivalent of a week’s wages, mad as that might seem, so this was an unusual experiment for me. Not all the photos are good, as I went right down the front, and you can imagine what that was like but this is a good reminder of a gig from which no bootlegs are known to exist, so this can be the one lasting testament. There are 4 photos of Phil Rambow (with Mick Jones and Glen Matlock in his band), 30 of The Innocents, 36 of The Slits, 34 of The Clash. Sorry about the price, but colour books cost a lot more to do than their black and white equivalents, and I figured this one deserved the full colour treatment.
