DAVE BERG (1920-2002) is best know for five decades of work on the classic Mad Magazine, but those efforts came long after Berg had established himself as a comic master. He began drawing in the comics in 1940 for the Eisner Studios, and over the next decade built a great resume of not only his inimitable brand of humor, but also amazing work as an action-comic illustrator.
