Andy Panda: Volume 1
Midcentury Comics #477: The Funniest Little Bear In Comics ! Four Early Complete Issues
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
To the younger readers, it may seem hard to believe that ANDY PANDA has been with us for over 80 years (1939). His adventures began as a series of short cartoons from the Walter Lantz Studios after the retirement of Oswald Rabbit from the screen (rumors of salary disputes and an affair with Betty Boop were rampant at the time). Although his prime cartoon days ended in 1949, ANDY has appeared off and on over the decades. His comic run was very successful, beginning in the Dell Four Color series and continuing with his own series, more than 50 issues from Dell and 23 from Western (Gold Key). This first collection brings four of his earliest comics from the Four Color series, four complete issues!
