SUPER CIRCUS was a high-quality 1951 humor (and adventure) comic from Cross Publications, based on the successful television show of the same name (1949-1956). The TV show featured circus acts in front of a studio audience of excited kids – the comics took them out into the real world, their adventures outside the studio. The shows were produced in Chicago in B&W (the last season in New York) but the comics take the reader all across the Earth! Sadly, only a handful of the TV episodes still exist, but thanks to the magic of Gwandanaland, you can enjoy the complete comic series! AND DID I SAY? CLOWNS!!
