Growing Up Gateway

Gateway subdivision is nestled in the northern part of Davidson County, near Nashville, Tennessee in the city of Goodlettsville. Mike Westveer takes us through the life of a boy in the 1970s and 1980s with tales of fun, friendship, and family. Growing Up Gateway details childhood in a time where children could be children and explore the world from dawn to dusk without fear. Neighborhood, school, church, and community come together to create an imperfect but wonderful upbringing for Mike, his friends, and family.
