Jude, An Expositional and Devotional Study

Many older commentators place Jude in the category of interesting historical backdrop for understanding New Testament times. This is a mistake. While there certainly is value in utilizing Jude for this purpose, it would be a grave mistake to fail to recognize the pertinence of this book to the contemporary spiritual climate. These are days of serious apostasy. Like the apostasy of the first century, the results include serious moral decline. Modern churches are by no means insulated from the moral implications of liberalism. The warnings and exhortations of Jude are current and needful.
