The Bitter People Around David

Bitterness is a spiritual cancer in the body of Christ. It is subtle, often lying dormant for long periods of time only to surface in unexpected breakouts that endanger the testimony, hinder the health, and even threaten the well-being of the body. It is a serious spiritual disease that must be prevented if possible. If bitterness has invaded the body, it must be diagnosed and excised as quickly as possible. Bitterness is a root sin that provides the unhealthy environment for other sins to develop and grow. Attempts to eradicate these other sins without addressing the root is the treatment of symptoms without addressing the disease. The results will be catastrophic!
