Story: In 2040, a team of robots called Virtual Reality Superheroes is on flight 34 on route to a well deserve vacation when suddenly a lightning struck the plane, killing the pilot. Unfortunately, no one onboard can fly the plane including these super robots. So, V.R. Superheroes uses the virtual world to train their minds to acquire the necessary skills to fly, and use that knowledge to land the plane safely on the ground.
The method of encapsulating a plurality of virtual worlds and designating different time speeds to each is known as “recursive time dilation.” The robots are structured in a hierarchical manner; Human level AI solves the problem about each robot in the team knowing their roles, rules, powers, and procedures. Their coordination to achieve a collective goal is based on common sense knowledge learned in school (just like sports players). Knowing things like how many virtual worlds to create, what objects and environments each virtual world contain, what the time dilation settings are for each virtual world, and what tasks and subtasks are done in each virtual world can also be learned through strategy guides. Depending on the mission, there are different strategy guides written to tell robots what optical procedures and rules to follow. It is each robot’s responsibility to read and understand these strategy guides, to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques to perform their tasks with optimal efficiency. – 2007 -- Mitchell Kwok
