Second story:
The government sets up a robot and AI competition in order to recruit the most powerful robots from all corners of the world. The competition itself is called America Robots or United States Robots. All 50 states, which are represented by the word AI added to their state names, are designated with at least one robot superhero team, depending on the size of its population and land. So, for example, California AI has 2 teams: AI-Force and Legions of technology while Hawaii AI, a smaller state, has only one team: Order of Computer Science (issue 143).
The U.S. robot competition will test the combatants’ skills and intelligence in many different fields. The super intelligent robots are tested in both the physical world where they have to affect objects in the real world, and in the virtual world where they have to excel in digital cognitive work. The games will facilitate competition in the robot race whereby winners are rewarded greatly, often times with the promise of wealth and power. They also test the robot combatants’ mastery of the physical world and cyberspace which are crucial to national security, because whichever nation wins the AI war rules the world. The losers get their country defeated by foreign adversaries. A nation’s powers, wealth, resources and even media representation will significantly diminish if they go to war and lose.
