My Spring

- It is a true story, about the author’s experience in 2021, about the military coup, in Burma/Myanmar. During that time the schoolteachers didn’t go to school to work and instead protested. Since the author is a teacher, she left the school, and fled Burma, into Thailand. The author’s pen name is Moe Sat, and it means a drop of water. The author tells her experience during the war, and how the Burmese military murdered and harass the citizens. The author talks about her village being destroyed. The message/theme is with just one drop of water, cannot extinguish the fire, instead, she wants everybody to be like water, so that way they can extinguish the violence and war that’s happening. Since the war is still going on, she cannot say when this book will finish.
