The Space Between Surviving & Thriving
A guided mental health journal for teens- Trauma Edition
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Surviving & Thriving: Trauma Edition is a guided mental health journal created to help teens understand trauma, recognize how it continues to impact them today, and begin building practical skills for healing.
Through age-appropriate education, reflective prompts, and other creative journaling activities, teens are encouraged to explore experiences at their own pace. Topics include trauma responses, attachment patterns, personal strengths and needs, emotional regulation, anxiety, low mood, anger, sleep, thoughts and beliefs, identity, relationships, boundaries, safety, and future growth.
This journal uses compassionate language and calming coastal illustrations to make difficult topics feel more approachable. It does not require teens to describe traumatic events in detail. Instead, it focuses on understanding present-day reactions, developing self-awareness, identifying supports, and strengthening healthy coping skills.
This journal may be used independently or alongside support from a licensed mental health professional. It is an educational and reflective resource and is not a substitute for therapy, medical care, crisis intervention, or professional diagnosis.
