Time and time I was twelve years old, and my life felt like a whirlwind of tears. I was constantly fighting and experiencing pain in my heart. Many battles had been lost, and, to make matters worse, we were moving again, this time to a new town, a new place, and a new life, over and over again. Life was supposed to be a fresh start. I was going to middle school at the time. It could be different now. Elementary school had been the saddest and most complicated time of my life. What could be worse than losing old friends and making new ones? Leaving behind old friends felt like leaving enemies, only to have new ones retake their place time and time again.
