Ocean Rides

This is a book of poetry about animal water craft. The inspiration for this book was “Tickets to Ride, an Alphabetic Amusement”, by Mark Rogalski. The original book was filled with beautiful artwork of animal shaped amusement park rides. The artwork was accompanied by poetry written on each ride’s ticket. In keeping with our Readathon theme of “Sailing into Reading”, we used the book as inspiration and chose to create animal themed water craft. A big thank-you goes to Ms Earles, who guided the students in the creation of their artwork.
