9 x 7, 53 pages, color. The book provides a brief history of American Conflicts from the prelude to World War 2 to 2007. It is intended that a review of these historic conflicts would aid in understanding the current WOT and also to encourage realistic attitudes regarding the fomidable challenges ahead. This short account reviews pre war circumstances, reasons for military engagement, near term results and long term aftermath. Many of our younger population as well as others with short memories do not fully understand that the world can be a dangerous place. Powerful regimes develop from time to time that threaten our country and our way of life. Out democratically elected leaders have the responsibility to evaluate national security threats and when warranted, to take effective action in response to these threats.
